Privacy

Lucycampos.com is a family website maintained by the Campos family to share updates about Lucy's medical journey. This page explains what information the site collects, what we do with it, and how to remove it.

What we collect

• Email subscribers: if you sign up for email updates, we store your email address with our newsletter provider (Buttondown). Nothing else.
• SMS subscribers: if you sign up for text updates, we store your phone number along with your subscription status (pending or confirmed). Nothing else.
• Contact form: if you send us a message, we receive your name, email, and the message itself in our personal inbox.
• Anonymous traffic stats: we use Plausible, a privacy-respecting analytics tool that does not use cookies, does not track you across sites, and does not collect personally identifying information. It tells us how many people visit each page, nothing more.

What we never do

• We never sell, rent, or share your email address or phone number with anyone.
• We never use your information for advertising or marketing of any product.
• We never run third-party advertising trackers, fingerprinting scripts, or social pixels.
• We never store payment information — the site does not process payments.

Third-party services we rely on

To run the site we use Buttondown (email delivery), Twilio (SMS delivery), Cloudinary (image and video hosting), Sanity (content management), Cloudflare Turnstile (spam protection on the contact form), Plausible (anonymous analytics), and Amazon Web Services (hosting and back-end functions). Each of these processes only the minimum data needed to do its job.

How to remove your information

• SMS: reply STOP to any text message from us. Your phone number is removed from our database immediately.
• Email: click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email from us. You can also email us (see below) and we will remove you manually.
• Contact form messages: email us and we will delete the thread.

Children's privacy

The site is about a child but does not knowingly collect information from children. Subscriptions and the contact form are intended for adults. If you believe a child has submitted information, please contact us and we will delete it.
